In fact, the group is so picky that someone always finds fault with something.although not this time. Wife's broiled seafood platter was also outstanding. Well prepared and seasoned just right, plus they were done throughout. The shrimp had a heavy batter but was great. The shrimp was also outstanding, large and tasteful. Very little filling, seasoned perfectly, and almost 5 oz of crab meat per cake. The food was OUTSTANDING! Being raised along the Chesapeake Bay, I have sampled crab cakes from North East, Md to Norfolk, VA.and can attest that the broiled crab cakes are the best I have ever had! Bar none. I had the crab cake with four fried shrimp, my wife had the broiled seafood platter. She either didn't know Finn was there or she knew it's against the law to distract a Service Dog who is on duty. 2100 Marina Shores Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Finn stayed silent and under the table for the entire meal (which was overcooked and dry fish). I sure hope the manager wouldn't have a problem with a person with a disability and her service dog in her restaurant! That would be illegal to deny service! We never got a visit from the manager (I suspect the manager wasn't the one who didn't want my service dog there) but we got plenty of looks from the hostess as she walked people passed us to their tables. She reluctantly seated us saying she doesn't have a problem seating us but her manager would probably have something to say about it. We thought we were walking into fun waterside grill and was greeted, instead, by a disapproving hostess who challenged me about my service dog by saying "Really?" in place of hello! She asked for proof (against ADA regulations, btw) and said she didn't know where to seat us! I shared ADA information that my dog is required access the same as a wheelchair and that "papers" for proof are only required in certain housing situations. We, my husband, service dog and I, were looking for a restaurant close to the house we just put an offer on, to celebrate.
